Honor is set to launch its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Honor Magic V6, with fresh leak suggesting its expected design and hardware changes. The device will go up against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, with a tipster revealing the codename and colours of the foldable. The Honor Magic V6 is likely to debut around March with a slimmer and lighter build, along with several high-end features.
Honor Magic V6: Expected specifications, design
According to a post from the popular Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, which is now deleted, the Honor Magic V6 foldable is internally called ‘Phenom.’ The company has already announced that the foldable will launch at MWC Barcelona 2026 on March 1, alongside the Honor Robot Phone. The tipster also claims that the phone will feature an ultra-thin glass-fibre body that is both lighter and slimmer than its predecessor, the Honor Magic V5.
Further, the phone is mentioned to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, while reportedly packing a big 7,000mAh battery, with support for wireless charging. Honor plans to offer the Magic V6 in four colours, namely: Red Rabbit, Snow White, Sunrise Gold and Velvet Black. Moreover, the handset could have a main camera with a 200MP large sensor alongside a periscope telephoto lens.
Other flagship features reportedly include full-level water resistance, BeiDou satellite connectivity, and a textured finish, giving it a premium shine. As of now, there’s no word on the pricing and global availability of the Honor Magic V6. The foldable could also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. However, since the tipster has deleted the aforementioned Weibo post, we recommend you take all this information with a grain of salt.
