WPL 2025: The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 season is set to commence on Friday (February 14) at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium. Defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will face Gujarat Giants (GG) in the inaugural clash of the WPL 2025 season. It is the third edition of the franchise-based T20 tournament which will feature five teams fighting for the prestigious trophy. The tournament will take place at four different venues, adding to a new level of excitement.

RCB led by India's star cricketer Smriti Mandhana will look to defend their title after scripting history last year with their first ever WPL championship. They defeated the Delhi Capitals in the final by 8 wickets to lift the WPL 2024 trophy.

Wpl 2025 format

The 2025 season will feature 20 group-stage matches, with each team playing every other team twice. The team that tops the points table will advance directly to the final, while the second and third-placed teams will compete in an eliminator to determine the other finalist.

Where to watch the WPL 2025: Live streaming details

The WPL 2025 campaign will be televised live via the Sports18 network in India. The live streaming for the same will be available on the JioCinema app and website.
