Big Bash League (BBL) 2024-25: The Big Bash League (BBL) is back and the 14th edition of the tournament has begun on Sunday (December 15). Although the league is being played from December to January 2025, big names are expected to make themselves available for the games. The latest edition of BBL will be played from 15 December to 27 January 2025.
In the first game of the season, Perth Scorchers started off in style with a promising victory against the Melbourne Stars at the Optus Stadium. All-rounder Cooper Connolly shined with a stellar half-century which handed his team the win.
The Big Bash League 2024-25 will feature 40 matches in the league stage, followed by the playoffs, which include the Qualifier, Knockout, and Challenger rounds. The final is set to take place on January 27, 2025. The Perth Scorchers hold the record as the most successful team in the tournament's history, with five championship titles.
