Aaron Finch has enjoyed many highs in cricket and has also served as the captain of Australia during his international career. The biggest highlight of his stint as an Australian captain is the World T20 title, which the first time the Kangaroos won the tournament. Finch-led Australian team had defeated New Zealand in the final back in 2021 held in Dubai.
If we focus on his individual records, Finch is Australia's second-highest run-scorer in men's T20Is, 157 runs behind top-ranked David Warner. Finch has 3120 T20I runs under his name from 103 innings at a strike-rate of 142.53. In fact, his 172 off 76 balls against Zimbabwe in 2018 still remains the highest individual score in men's T20Is. In addition, his 156 off 63 balls against England in 2013 features third in the list.
The stats above are a proof of Finch's credential both as a cricketer and captain. However, Finch, who announced retirement from international cricket in February 2023, has now become part of a hilarious joke which is due to his participation in LEGEN-Z T10 League held at the Sawai Mansingh International Stadium in Jaipur.
The moment took place during the toss as the presenter introduced Finch and the other captain before the league's inaugural match. As the video went viral, fans were quick to poke fun at Finch, drawing hilarious reactions such as "kya majboori rahi hogi?"
