Space lovers, get ready for an exciting new adventure. This summer, NASA is making it even easier to explore the cosmos. The agency has announced a new partnership with Netflix to stream NASA+ live content right to your screen.
Rocket Launches and Spacewalks at Your Fingertips
From this summer, viewers can catch rocket launches live on Netflix. Audiences will also enjoy astronaut spacewalks and real-time mission coverage. Stunning live views of Earth from space are part of the package too.
Rebecca Sirmons, general manager of NASA+, shared her excitement. She said the 1958 National Aeronautics and Space Act inspires this mission. “We aim to share our story of space exploration widely,” she explained. “Together, we are committed to inspiring future generations from their couch or mobile phone.”
Making Space More Accessible Than Ever
This collaboration will help NASA reach millions worldwide. Netflix now connects with over 700 million users globally. The goal is simple: bring NASA’s stories into every home.
NASA hopes this move boosts interest in science and exploration. The agency already uses videos, podcasts, social media, and events. This partnership adds another powerful tool to that mission.
NASA+ Remains Free and Ad-Free
NASA+ will stay free, with no ads, for everyone. You can still watch it via the NASA app or website. Extra details about the shows and schedules are coming soon.
This step reflects NASA’s promise to make space exploration open to all. Whether on Netflix or the NASA app, the universe is now just a click away.
