Tesla boss Elon Musk has responded to the job offer by Donald Trump. In a brief post on X (erstwhile Twitter), which he bought back in 2022, Musk posted an AI generated photo with a caption – “I am willing to serve.”
The photo showed Musk dressed in formal suit on a lectern that read D.O.G.E – Department of Government Efficiency.

The post came shortly after Trump said that in case he wins the US Presidential Elections in November, he will offer a cabinet job to Musk. He also said that he may also think on abolishing $7,500 tax credit for purchase of electric vehicles.
The X post by Musk has sparked an intense speculation that the Tesla boss may have a larger role in Trump administration should the Republicans win the polls. While Musk posted a cryptic message on X, Tesla has not officially issued a statement on the matter.
Last week, Musk had interviewed Trump, which garnered over billion views. Marred with technical glitches, Musk had said that the interview was targeted by a massive DDoS attack.
Meanwhile, a Wall Street Journal report said that the Tesla CEO has pledged $45 million per month to a new political action committee supporting Trump. The America PAC will majorly focus on voter outreach and registration efforts to counter the Democrats' traditionally strong campaigns. The US presidential polls are slated to be held on November 5 this year.
