The Israeli military has cocluded that the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) group was responsible for the blast at Al Ahli hospital in Gaza City. The IDF chief spokesman, Rear Adm Daniel Hagari, stated that an immediate review was conducted, involving all relevant branches of the IDF, BBC reported.
According to their findings, a barrage of rockets was initially fired by Hamas towards Israel at 18:15 local time on October 17, before the hospital blast.
