Indian benchmark indices surged to fresh record highs on March 1, with the Nifty crossing the 22,300 mark. The Sensex jumped 1.72% to close at 73,745.35, while the Nifty rose 1.62% to 22,338.80. Tata Steel, L&T, JSW Steel, Titan Company, and IndusInd Bank led the gains, while Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Sun Pharma, HCL Technologies, Infosys, and Britannia Industries faced losses.
