Zoho co-founder and CEO Sridhar Vembu has shared that he and Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran had studied in Tamil medium schools and that for business leaders like him, both Chandrasekaran and the Tata Group are role models.

The two leaders met at an event in Chennai where Chandrasekaran was given the 20th Madras Management Association Amalgamations Business Leadership Award.

Sharing a picture with Chandrasekaran on X, Sridhar Vembu wrote, "Yesterday, I was at the MMA-Amalgamations function where Tata Sons chairman Mr N Chandrasekaran accepted the Business Leadership Award and gave an inspiring speech where he urged business leaders to think long term. He had studied in Tamil medium schools like me. He and the Tata Group are role models for us."

Responding to the post, X users pointed out that the success of both Sridhar Vembu and N Chandrasekaran prove that language is no barrier if you are ambitious and motivated.

"The success of both of you proves that language is not a barrier to success. I studied in a Hindi medium school and got a good quality education. I have many classmates who have done really well," wrote Anurag Mairal (@mairal), a professor and health tech entrepreneur.

"The Tata group just like the team at Zoho has been a huge inspiration for likes of me. It's indeed a pleasure to see you both in one frame," commented Agni Aharman (@agnisharman1), an entrepreneur.
