A woman from northeastern Thailand has drawn widespread attention after revealing that she is in a relationship with a pair of twin brothers — a union that both families have reportedly accepted and supported.
Thai media outlet Khaosod reported that the woman, identified as Fah, 24, shared details of her relationship on social media and described it as stable and supportive despite its unconventional nature.
Fah said she had been single for over a year and was not actively seeking a relationship when she was contacted online by the twins, Suea and Sing, who are 23. Suea, the younger twin, first reached out to her and later encouraged his brother to do the same. The three began dating while Fah was completing her studies.
According to Khaosod, the twins work in agricultural machinery services, while Fah works at a restaurant, assisting with customer service and kitchen duties. She reportedly earns more than 10,000 baht (about Rs 30,000) a month.
The three initially lived together in a dormitory close to Fah’s workplace. Fah said they divide daily responsibilities among themselves and jointly support their families. The twin brothers reportedly hand over their earnings to Fah, who manages household expenses. She also said the brothers are shy by nature and have not shown jealousy toward each other.
Fah said both families are aware of the relationship and have expressed their acceptance, a factor she described as crucial to their stability. She added that if she were to have a child in the future, she would ensure legal clarity through a DNA test, while hoping the child would regard both men as fathers, Thaiger reported.
The story has triggered mixed reactions online. While some users praised the mutual consent and transparency involved, others questioned whether equal emotional commitment was possible in such a relationship. Fah has dismissed criticism, saying the relationship is a personal choice and that she remains unconcerned by negative comments.
