Cardamom prices rose sharply at the spot market on export buying at auctions held in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Limited arrivals at the spot market also supported the prices. Last week, around 50% of the arrivals were picked up by the exporters and the rest was absorbed by domestic traders. Exporters have bought an estimated 120 tons of small cardamom last week.By: Skymetweather.com
