IPL 2023 RR vs DC Live Highlights: Rajasthan Royals win by 57 runs; Delhi loses third match in a row

Royals bounce back from a tight loss in their previous match to trounce Delhi by 57 runs. Capitals remain winless from three matches now but Royals have moved to 2-1. Fireworks shoot off above the ground now in Guwahati to make a cherry on top for the home fans celebrating their victory. Well, the match Was summed up by the two opening overs. 20 runs by Jaiswal for Rajasthan in the first innings, and a double-wicket maiden for Boult to start the chase.

Sandeep to bowl the last over. AND GONE! Nortje has been cleaned up as DC stares at a huge loss; its third defeat in a row. Done and dusted... Kuldeep runs a single off the last delivery. Only three come off the last over as DC succumbs to a 57-run loss.

Ashwin to bowl the last PowerPlay over. OUT! Rossouw goes for the reverse-sweep and Jaiswal takes a fine low catch at covers. Rajasthan has another wicket in the PowerPlay. Lalit Yadav comes in next. He gets off the mark with a couple.

FOUR! Lucky boundary for Rossouw as he goes for a drive and ends up slicing the ball just over point. FOUR! Warner punches this through covers for his second boundary.

David Warner and Prtihvi Shaw opened for DC. Shaw came in as Impact Player. Trent Boult with the ball. Shaw tucks the first ball off his hips and goes straight to leg gully. This comes drifts in a bit and Shaw misses and is hit on the back thigh. OUT! Outside edge and an incredible catch by Samson diving to his right. Shaw goes for another duck. OUT! Manish Pandey is gone next ball. Two wickets in two balls for Boult. Rilee Rossouw will face the hat-trick ball. And this whizzes past the outside edge to the keeper. Rossouw defends the last ball back to the bowler and double wicket maiden for Boult.

Here comes Nortje. Comes around the wicket.Lalit runs in from deep midwicket, dives forward but the ball bursts through his hands.Full-toss on the stumps and Buttler doesn’t time this at all but the connection is good enough to send it to the long-off boundary.

Kuldeep bowls out. Buttler slices one over cover for a couple and then goes for the reverse-sweep next ball but straight to point. Kuldeep ends with one for 31 from four overs.

Kuldeep Yadav continues. Just five runs from the over. Riyan Parag miscues to pull shots that should have sent Kuldeep’s two rank half-trackers to the boundary. Buttler then mistimed a couple of reverse-sweeps.

Anrich Nortje bowled the last over of the PowerPlay. At the end of 6 overs, Jaiswal gets a single off the third ball with a push to mid-off. Buttler lofts this over extra-cover for four more. DC has sustained some serious damage, conceding 14 boundaries in six overs. They must recoup in the middle-overs now through their spinners.
