Bollywood star Salman Khan crossed paths with iconic Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo at a boxing event in Saudi Arabia, as per photographs and videos that have emerged on social media. Khan and Ronaldo were spotted sitting next to each other as they watched Tyson Fury take on Francis Ngannou in Riyadh on Saturday night.

One particular video which sent tongues wagging shows Ronaldo walking past Salman Khan. The captain of Saudi Al-Nassr football club seemingly ignored the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor as he walked through the crowd hand-in-hand with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.

However, another picture showed the two of him engaged in a friendly chat. The picture was widely shared by fans of the actor to debunk claims that Ronaldo gave him the cold shoulder.

Ronaldo is reportedly a fan of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who made his boxing debut against Fury on Saturday in Riyadh. Fury was awarded a controversial split-decision win in the boxing match which Khan and Ronaldo attended.

Before the match, Ronaldo sent Ngannou a watch as a good luck gift. The two first met earlier this year while staying at the same hotel in Saudi Arabia. The MMA star described the football icon as “very cool” in an interview with TNT Sports.

On the work front, Salman Khan will next be seen in the fifth instalment of Yash Raj Film’s spy universe – Tiger 3 – alongside Katrina Kaif.
