RPG Group chairperson Harsh Goenka has described Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s career trajectory as “the most inspiring LinkedIn profile ever,” spotlighting the billionaire’s rise from humble beginnings to global tech leadership.
“From dishwasher at Denny’s… to Founder & CEO of Nvidia. Take a bow, Jensen Huang,” Goenka posted on X, referring to Huang’s early years working at a US diner before founding what is now the world’s most valuable public company.
This might just be the most inspiring LinkedIn profile ever.

Huang, 62, began his professional life in the late 1970s scrubbing toilets, washing dishes, and serving tables at Denny’s. His LinkedIn profile lists just two roles: five years at the diner and over three decades as Nvidia’s CEO. Today, he ranks sixth on Forbes’s global rich list, with a net worth of over $158 billion, while Nvidia has a trillion-dollar valuation.
A graduate of Oregon State University and Stanford, Huang has often spoken about the formative impact of his early jobs. “To me, no task is beneath me because, remember, I used to be a dishwasher,” he said during a Stanford Graduate School of Business interview in March. “I’ve cleaned more toilets than all of you combined.”
Known for his relentless work ethic—starting his day at 5 am—Huang believes in the value of all work and the importance of contributing meaningfully. “If you send me something and you want my input on it… I’ve made a contribution to you,” he said.
