Hema Malini pens note on Dharmendra's birthday: 'Hope you can see how special you are to me'

Legendary actor Dharmendra celebrated his 88th birthday on Friday and to mark the occasion, wife and co-actor in many movies Hema Malini wished the octogenarian and hoped he got "all the happiness a day could bring".

"Wishing my dearest life partner of many years, a very happy, healthy and joyful birthday. May you have all the love your heart can hold, all the happiness a day can bring, and all the blessings a life can unfold. I just want to say: I hope you can see how special you are to me. Happy birthday to my love!" the actor wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday.

A paparazzo Instagram account also shared a video of the actor cutting a large cake in the presence of his son Sunny Deol and members of his fan club.

Dharmendra last appeared in the Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer "Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani", which was a hit at the box office. He will be next seen in the untitled romantic drama, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
