One dead, over 100 injured in chemical factory blast near Mumbai

A blast in a chemical factory in the outskirts of Mumbai has left one person dead and more than 100 injured. A fire broke out after the blast in a boiler in Acharya chemical company in Dombivli.

The impact of the blast was reportedly so severe that it was felt up to a distance of 4 kilometres.

Water tankers and fire engines have been rushed to the spot.
