Delhi govt's odd-even scheme a gimmick: Prashant Bhushan

The Delhi government started its second round of traffic rationing scheme which will continue until April 30.

Activist lawyer and Swaraj Abhiyan leader Prashant Bhushan termed the Delhi government's much touted odd-even scheme to combat spiralling air pollution as a "gimmick". Bhushan said citizens may offer better measures to reduce pollution like bike lanes and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) than resort to odd-even. "Citizens may offer better solutions for pollution: Bike lanes, better public transport/BRT, than gimmicks like odd/even," he tweeted. The Delhi government started its second round of traffic rationing scheme which will continue until April 30.
