With less than 48 hours to go for the Railway Budget, CNN-IBN gets you voices of people from the two states which have had the maximum number of Railway Ministers - Bihar and West Bengal. Have things changed for the rail passengers?

The Indian Railways today is staring at some uncertain times ahead. What about more than 20 million passengers that depend on it every day? CNN-IBN finds out if they have been forgotten somewhere between politics and commerce?

"We need more platforms with more trains as there are more passengers and less train," a rail user said.

In modern stations hygiene takes a beating and safety on platforms is far from being sufficient. Even inside the trains safety is crucial concern for the passengers.

Amenities and annoying delays in running of trains are the issues which have remained a concern for train commuters for decades.

From Nitish Kumar to Ram Vilash Paswan to Lalu Prasad Yadav, this has not lessened the ordeal of train travellers in Bihar.
