CBI will inform the Supreme Court tomorrow on its progress in the probe into 2G sperctrum scam including the finding of its quizzing of DMK chief M Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi and his wife Dayalu Ammal on alleged transfer of money from a Mumbai-based firm to Kalaignar TV in which both jointly own 80% stake.

The investigating agency is likely to submit its status report in a sealed envelope at 3.15 pm before a bench of justices G S Singhvi and A K Ganguly which is monitoring the probe in the scam.

Kanimozhi, a Rajya Sabha member, and Dayalu Ammal were questioned by CBI officials about the alleged transfer of Rs 214 crore to Kalaignar TV from Cineyug, a subsidiary of Swan Telecom, which is a 2G spectrum beneficiary.

The agency would also brief the apex court on the request for voluntariy retirement by its chief investigating officer in the case to join a private company associated with ICC''s anti-corruption, which the court had observed as "disturbing" thing.

In the last hearing on March 1, CBI had in its report named the CEOs and promoters of ten companies as among 63 persons who have come under the scanner for their alleged involvement in the 2G spectrum allocation scam.

The court had expressed satisfaction about the progress in the probe into the case and asked the agency to file status report on March 15.
