YouTube down for several users across India, US: Report

YouTube was down for several users across India and the US, according to outage tracking website Downdetector.com.

In India, the outage was first reported around 6 am on the tracking website, with close to 20,000 complaints of the free video platform not functioning. More than 70 percent of the complaints were for app users, Downdetector reported.

The Alphabet-owned platform was also down for over 320,000 users in the US. As of 8:18 p.m. ET, 321,958 users had flagged problems with the social media platform, according to outage-tracking site Downdetector, which aggregates user-submitted reports from various sources.

On the same platform, YouTube TV logged 8,923 complaints, while Google recorded 2,694 reports of issues.
