Ashneer Grover shares pic of 'cross-breed Tesla' in Delhi: 'Elon Musk crying in corner'

Former BharatPe MD Ashneer Grover never misses a chance to share something amusing or baffling on the internet. This time, he took to X to share a picture of what he called world’s first “cross-breed” Tesla. Confused? Well, it was not a real Tesla but a BYD ATTO 3, an electric SUV with Tesla’s logo on the back.

In the amusing post, Grover shared a pictureof the hybrid car that he spotted in Delhi’s Karol Bagh locality. “World’s first ‘cross - breed’ Tesla! Some Delhi boy literally ‘built his dream’ in Karol Bagh,” he wrote in the caption. The BYD ATTO 3, which stands for ‘Build Your Dreams’ and is known as ‘India’s First Sporty Born E-SUV”.

Needless to say, the post went viral with over two lakh views and hundreds of comments from social media users.

“Waiting for the day - Tesla ke peeche 'awaaz dedo' likha ho,” a user wrote. Another user commented, “There is no dearth of creativity in India.”

“Elon Musk crying in the corner,” a third user joked. A fourth user remarked, “Indians are go-getters.”

“ROFL, this is BYD ATTO 3. The guy is brilliant,” another person added.

Meanwhile, a California judge on Friday ordered Tesla Inc. to pay $1.5 million as part of a settlement of a civil case alleging the company mishandled hazardous waste at its car service centers, energy centers and a factory, multiple county district attorneys announced.

Coming back to Ashneer Grover, the former Shark Tank India judge on Monday pointed out how the reality television show still uses his name to get views on YouTube. The Third Unicorn founder retweeted a post on X that showed the Shark Tank India team using #AshneerGrover to get more attention and views on videos.

A quick check by Moneycontrol revealed that multiple videos of the show on YouTube carried his name in the hashtags even though he has not been a part of the panel after season one.
