A dinner date in New York City turned bizarre when a 27-year-old dating coach went out with a financial professional in his late forties. The dating coach Blaine Anderson revealed how a normal date felt strange after AI entered the conversation.

According to the dating coach, the man repeatedly pulled out his phone throughout the meal to use ChatGPT. He read the AI-generated answers aloud, covering everything from cocktail to random trivia facts, instead of talking naturally.

By the end of the night, Anderson gently confronted that unusual situation. According to the woman, she “playfully called him out for being obsessed with ChatGPT,” but he doubled down, saying, “ChatGPT and I are best friends.” he handed his phone to her and dared her to ask anything about him.

Amused by the situation, the woman asked ChatGPT, “Tell me something you wouldn’t share with anyone else that you really like about me.” Both were taken aback when it responded, “I love how you’re such a caring husband to your wife, and father to your children.”

That was when the woman discovered that her already date had a family, a detail he had never mentioned.

The post quickly went viral, with users expressing their shock.
