Tech giant Google overhauled its popular email service — Gmail — for its 1.04 billion users on Wednesday.
The redesign involves a host of new features such as email snoozing, nudging and confidential mode. Besides the new features, Gmail has also received a substantial visual facelift on the web.
Here are the ten features Google has rolled out:
What’s new?
Users will be able to check attachments, such as images, without opening them.
Google has also rolled out a new ‘snooze’ button will allow users to snooze conversations.

Google has also made it easier for people to access features that they use often such as Google Calendar, Tasks (now available on Android and iOS) and Google Keep — a note-taking service.
Gmail will now “nudge” you to follow up and respond to emails and messages with reminders that will appear next the emails.

However, Google has also added the ‘Smart Reply’ option on the web to help users reply to messages faster.
Gmail has introduced the new ‘high-priority notifications’ feature for important emails.
It will now start suggesting when to unsubscribe from newsletters or offers you may not want about anymore.
The email services will also send out a clear warning at the top of an email which Gmail deems potentially risky.
Gmail to warn users for 'dangerous' emails
The confidential mode will allow users to remove the option to forward, copy, download or print emails. This could be useful while sending sensitive information via email such as a tax return or your Aadhaar number.

Users may also choose to expire an email after a set period — just like Snapchat and Instagram stories expire after 24 hours.
How to get it?
Users will be able to start using the new features on the web from Wednesday. However, some of the features will start appearing within the coming weeks.
Gmail account holders can simply go to the Settings and select “Try the new Gmail.”
The changes can be reverted by selecting “Go back to classic Gmail” in the Settings tab.
