Realme 12x 5G all set to launch on April 2; Here’s what we know so far

The Realme 12x 5G is most likely to land in the sub Rs 15,000 price segment.

Realme’s launch calendar seems to be getting busier. Just this week, the brand announced that the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G would go on sale on March 26, 2024 in the sub Rs 20K segment. Realme has now confirmed that it’s all set to launch the Realme 12x 5G on April 2, 2024. Realme had launched this device in China in March with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and a vibrant 6.67-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. We’re likely to see a similar version of the device arrive in India on April 2. The company has already teased the device on its landing page on the Realme website. We’ve already been hearing about the likely specs of this device.

The Realme 12x 5G is most likely to land in the sub Rs 15,000 price segment. The device’s predecessor – the Realme 11x 5G was launched in India in 2023 at a price of Rs 12,999 and it’s quite likely that the new device will land at the same price point. Here’s what we already know:

Massive battery: Realme has pitched the device as India’s first 45W 5G phone in segment. It features a massive 5000 mAh battery backed by a 45W SuperVOOC charger that can take the device from 1 to 50% in 25 minutes flat.

Realme’s segment-first push: It’s not just the 45W battery, Realme has also claimed the 12x 5G will flaunt the brightest 120Hz display in its segment and will be the only device at this price point with a dual speaker.

Other features: The device is likely to be propelled by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and offer advanced VC cooling technology. It will also feature unique features like Air Gestures and what Realme calls a Dynamic button.
