POCO X6 Neo first impressions review: 5 cool features to check out

We had earlier reported that the POCO X6 Neo will launch in India on March 13, 2024. The X6 Neo has just landed in the sub Rs 15,000 price point. We spent some time with this device and these are the features that you should check out:

Slinky design: Clunky smartphones are clearly passe. The X6 Neo feels great in your hand with its slim profile. It weighs just 175 gm and is 7.69 mm thin. POCO manages to stretch the screen: body ratio to an impressive 93.3% with its bezel-less design. The IP54 rating with dust and splash resistance adds to it’s durability. The device comes in Horizon Blue, Astral Black and a cool shade of Martian Orange that we checked out.

Vibrant display: One of the highlights of the device is the 6.67-inch  AMOLED FHD+ Display. The 120Hz refresh rate adds to the immersive appeal of this bezel-less display. Colours are quite vibrant, the device hits a peak brightness of 1000 nits.  The display showcases a wide colour gamut of 100% DCI-P3 and a colour depth exceeding 1.07 billion colours, providing for improved image quality.

AI-driven photography: One of the talking points of this device is the108MP Dual AI Camera with f/1.75 and 3x lossless in-Sensor Zoom that is a great feature at this price. This dual cam teams up with a 16MP Selfie Camera. Selfie fiends will appreciate the array of film filters and camera modes.

Under the hood: At its heart is a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 Processor. The device didn’t  stutter in our tests. We checked out the top-end 12GB/256GB variant. The POCO X6 Neo also comes in an 8/128GB hardware option

Robust battery: The POCO X6 Neo is kitted with a 5000mAh Battery that won’t let you down. We comfortably sailed through a day.  POCO has bundled a 33W Fast USB Type-C Charger with the device.
