Dell has expanded its line of laptops in India by launching newAI-enabled consumer PCs in India. The new models include the XPS 14 & 16. Dell says that the new laptops are powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processors with integrated artificial intelligence (AI) for enhanced performance and efficiency power the new devices.Dell XPS 16, XPS 14: Pricing and availability
The XPS 16 (9640) starts at Rs 2,99,990 whereas the XPS 14 (9440) starts at Rs 1,99,990. The new XPS devices will be available for purchase starting April 25, 2024, across Dell.com, DES, large format retail, and multi-brand outlets.

The new XPS laptops boast significant performance improvements with Intel Core Ultra 9 processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics, offering up to 45% faster performance than the previous XPS 15. Both laptops, powered include a neural processing unit (NPU), which means the PC no longer needs to solely rely on the CPU or GPU for processing and performance.
The display is also a highlight, featuring an OLED InfinityEdge touchscreen with a high refresh rate of 120Hz, high resolution, and Dolby Vision for sharp visuals. The laptops include Eyesafe technology that reduces harmful blue light without affecting colour accuracy. With Copilot in Windows 11, users now have a new personal AI assistant. There’s also a dedicated Copilot key, designed to get things done faster.
The XPS laptops are crafted from CNC machined aluminum and Gorilla Glass 3. A unique touch function row lets you easily switch between media and function keys, while a large glass touchpad with haptic feedback and bigger keycaps promises a comfortable typing experience. The laptops also feature 360-degree spatial audio featuring Dolby Atmos and Waves MaxxAudio. The XPS 14 and 16 also boast powerful speaker systems tuned by a Grammy award-winning producer. Video calls are also getting an upgrade with the new intelligent FHD 1080p webcam.
