If you use TweetDeck regularly, you'll have either noticed that the service is down or that you could access other people's accounts that you usually have no access to. The TweetDeck web app went down after a bug allowed users to access accounts that were not their own. Once you log out of your account, you will not be able to log back in. The bug was discovered on Friday, by a Twitter user, Geoff Evanson (@gevanson) tweeting to TweetDeck, while cc-ing Twitter said that the TweetDeck web application has given him access to hundreds of accounts and that the service should look into that. He also attached a picture to the tweet, illustrating the accounts he had access to. He said that the service gave him access to hundreds of accounts by simply him logging into his account. TweetDeck later posted a tweet confirming that the service was down and that they apologize for the inconvenience. Neither did they specify the reason for the outage, nor did they say when the service will be back up.Click here for full story
