"One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
In a moment that echoes the iconic words of Neil Armstrong, history has been rewritten today as India took a triumphant stroll on the lunar landscape!
Chandrayaan-3's rover Pragyan, which was inside the Vikram lander that made a historic touchdown on the Moon yesterday, has rolled onto the Moon's surface.
"The Ch-3 Rover ramped down from the Lander and India took a walk on the moon!" said ISRO in a tweet this morning.

India's startup ecosystem has been waiting for a deal from SoftBank for more than 15 months.
However, it looks like both dry spells could break soon, and in one fell swoop, as Mamaearth eyes a pre-IPO round with SoftBank as a potential investor.
Mamaearth is looking to raise $120-150 million in a pre-IPO round at a valuation of about $1.5 billion, sources told us.
The round would mostly comprise secondary transactions, allowing some of Mamaearth's early investors to partially exit before the IPO.
Mamaearth is hopeful of conducting an IPO later this year, and the company has begun preparations for it in full swing, according to sources.

TVS Motors launched their second electric two-wheeler, with an investment of Rs 250 crore, and it is priced at Rs 2,49,900.
Currently, the electric scooter market is dominated by Ola Electric, followed by TVS, Hero, and Ather. TVS, which started in 2020 with its affordable electric scooter called iQube, has captured a market share of 20% in just three years. The fight for the top spot is now on.
"We will be the company that will have the complete offering within the EV ecosystem and address the customer's needs," said Sudarshan Venu, MD of TVS Motors.
The company aims to offer a comprehensive ecosystem, which includes additional three-wheelers, two-wheelers, and potential delivery bikes for e-commerce companies.
The company plans to expand in India, but it also wants to be a global player in the EV market.

But what is this snow he speaks of? What is behind India's compounding growth, and which points does Keshre believe need to be reinforced in the minds of the public?
Keshre, who hails from the village of Lepa in Madhya Pradesh, talks about the steep transformation that India has seen in the last two decades.
