The Union Cabinet today approved a proposal for enacting the Dam Safety Bill 2018, which will help the states and union territories to adopt uniform safety procedures to ensure safety of reservoirs
The stock is in excess of levels reported during corresponding period last year by nine percent. It is also 101 percent of the average of storage in last 10 years.
