Private sector lender Kotak Mahindra Bank's fourth quarter (Jan-March) standalone net profit grew to a forecast beating 47 percent year-on-year to Rs 436 crore, aided by robust net interest income which shot up 31 percent to Rs 903 crore. Shares hit 52-wk high.
Kotak Mahindra Bank's shares gained as much as 1.75 percent in morning trade Thursday to touch a 52-week high of Rs 718 ahead of fourth quarter earnings.
Private sector lender Kotak Mahindra Bank is set to report its fourth quarter (January-March) numbers on Thursday. According to the average of the CNBC-TV18 poll, standalone (pure banking business) profit after tax is expected to grow by 23 percent year-on-year to Rs 364 crore.
