The board will also consider raising funds through a qualified institutional placement method, it added. HCL is a public sector undertaking under the administrative control of the Ministry of Mines.
The OFS will take place on Thursday and Friday through a separate, designated window of the BSE Ltd and NSE, Hindustan Copper said in a filing to BSE.
The copper major has set a revenue from operations target of Rs 2,000 crore, and capex of Rs 600 crore -- mainly for mine expansion projects.
The ore production of the flagship unit of HCL, Malanjkhand Copper Project, has been at an all-time high of 25.42 lakh tonnes during the fiscal year, it said.
The copper miner had reported Rs 28.13 crore net profit in the same period of 2017-18.
"In the short run my focus would be on assets and jobs that would fetch 'immediate revenue' from all possible pending projects and maximisation of asset utilisation while working on projects that can give returns within next one year," he said.
The government has disinvested 6.83 percent stake in Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL), which would fetch around Rs 400 crore to the exchequer.
The issue received bids for over 2.56 crore shares, or 69 percent, of the 3.71 crore shares on offer at 1225 hours, according to data from stock exchanges. The indicative price was Rs 70 apiece, which was also the base price for the share sale.
Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL) has reported their Q4 results for FY11. They posted a 33.54% drop in their net profit at Rs 61 crore as compared to Rs 91 crore last year same period. Their topline decreased to Rs 285 crore as against Rs 408 crore.
