    • WPI declines to -2.36 percent in May

      The annual rate of inflation, based on monthly WPI, stood at -2.36 percent (provisional) for the month of May, 2015 (over May, 2014) as compared to -2.65 percent (provisional) for the previous month and 6.18 percent during the corresponding month of the previous year.

    • WPI inflation accelerates to 5.79% in July

      India's headline inflation accelerated to 5.79 percent in July, the fastest pace in five months, mainly driven by higher food prices and costlier imports as the rupee fell to a record low, government data showed on Wednesday.
