A senior official from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) told Moneycontrol that it is looking into the collapse of the expressway.
The 296-km-long Bundelkhand Expressway, which was built at a cost of about Rs 14,850 crore and travels across seven districts of Uttar Pradesh, was officially inaugurated on Saturday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Bundelkhand Expressway in Uttar Pradesh on July 16. The 296 Km, four-lane expressway has been constructed at a cost of around Rs 14,850 crores, under the aegis of Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA), and can later be expanded up to six lanes as well.
The expressway will have connectivity to the Agra-Lucknow Expressway and the Agra-Noida Expressway.
