1.2 billion Aadhaar records compromised in first half of 2018: Gemalto report

A report mentions that during the first six months of 2018, more than 25 million records were breached on a daily basis across the world, which means 291 records get compromised every second.
Axis Bank hope Aadhaar based transaction ban to be lifted soon

Axis Bank expects the ban on Aadhaar based transaction to be lifted soon. The bank awaits the investigation report from Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) on Aadhaar biometric data breach in couple of days.
