Former Telangana Chief Minister and Bhartiya Rashtra Samiti (BRS) president K Chandrasekhar Rao was admitted to Yashoda Hospitals, Somajiguda on Thursday evening after he complained of weakness.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy enquired about his health and checked on his treatment. As per an official release shared on X by Telangana CMO account, Reddy spoke to medical experts and officials and asked them to ensure the best treatment for the former CM.
CM Reddy wished him a quick and full recovery so that he is able to return with good health to discharge his regular duties in public service.

In an official statement released by Yashoda Hospital, it has been revealed that high blood sugars and low sodium levels caused his discomfort, as per preliminary investigations. Rao was kept under close observation, and medication was started to control diabetes and to increase sodium levels.
“Preliminary investigations revealed high blood sugar levels and low sodium levels. All other vital parameters are within normal limits. He is under close observation, and medications have been initiated to control his diabetes and correct the sodium imbalance. His condition is stable,” Rao’s health bulletin issued by the hospital said.
After the BRS was removed from power in the December 2023 assembly elections in December 2023, KCR had suffered a fracture due to a fall at his residence. He underwent a successful surgery for left Total Hip Replacement.
