In the business world, there are some born billionaires and then there are some who start from scratch to make their way. Here are some of the billionaires who made it big starting as interns:
Kevin Systrom | Co-founder, Instagram | The CEO of photo-sharing app worked as a technical and business intern at podcasting platform startup Odeo. Interestingly, at Odeo, he worked under to-be founders of microblogging site Twitter, Evan Williams and Noah Glass. Small world, no! His current net worth, as per Forbes, is $1.55 billion.

Evan Spiegel | Co-founder, Snapchat | He started as an unpaid intern at Red Bull. Later, he interned at a biotech company Abraxis BioScience and worked at a software company Intuit. At Intuit, he handled one of the products which took the information available online and made it accessible via SMS to people in India who didn't have broadband Internet access. He is currently worth $2.5 billion.

Elon Musk | Founder, Tesla Motors | One of the leading tech visionaries of this age, Musk worked at several companies as interns before stepping into the big league. He was a summer intern at the Bank of Nova Scotia, while still at Queens University in Ontario; an intern at Microsoft Canada; and a video game programmer for Rocket Science Games. Later, while completing his PhD, he interned with Pinnacle Research, an energy storage startup. He is currently worth $19.8 billion.

Sachin Bansal | Co-founder, Flipkart | One of the Bansal buddies who recently decided to exit the company he founded by selling his stocks to retail giant Walmart. At one time, both Binny and Sachin Bansal interned at their rival Amazon. The transaction will make him a billionaire. In 2015, Sachin Bansal's net worth was $1.3 billion. Steve Jobs | Co-founder, Apple | The founder of the most valued technology company in the world started pretty young and interned for Hewlett-Packard (HP) at the age of 13, assembling a device called frequency counter. When he passed away in 2011 his net worth was estimated to be around $10.2 billion.
