Leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi offered a rose and tricolor to defence minister Rajnath Singh during a protest outside Parliament premises on Wednesday.
In a video circulating on social media, Rahul can be seen approaching Rajnath as he enters Parliament and tries to give him a tricolor and rose. Rajnath continues to walk inside the complex without accepting it.
The opposition has been staging protests outside Parliament, accusing the Centre of dodging discussions on bribery chargers levelled against Gautam Adani in US.

The winter session has been stormy from the beginning, with protests by opposition members forcing constant disruption in the proceedings of both Houses.
On Tuesday, BJP lashed out at the INDIA bloc parties for not allowing Parliament to function and slammed Rahul over his manner of holding protests.
It said that his behaviour does not behove an opposition leader.
Earlier, several opposition MPs demonstrated over the Adani issue on the Parliament premises, carrying black 'jholas' (bags) with caricatures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and billionaire Gautam Adani printed on it and 'Modi Adani Bhai Bhai' written on the obverse side.
Rahul had earlier conducted a mock ‘interview’ over the Adani issue with Congress members wearing masks of Prime Minister Modi and Adani.
Accusing the opposition parties of not letting Parliament function, BJP MP and national spokesperson Sambit Patra said the kind of drama they are doing in the ongoing Winter Session does not suit them.
“I was surprised to see the behaviour of the Leader of the Opposition (Rahul Gandhi), the way he was recording with his mobile phone after making them (two Congress leaders) wear masks. This is the way a Leader of Opposition behaves,” he told reporters in Parliament complex.
