India on Wednesday gave video and photographic evidence of Operation Sindoor, hours after a joint operation by the Army, Air Force and Navy struck 9 terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir.

During a joint media briefing on the operation, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Colonel Sofiya Qureshi on Wednesday shed light on India's response to the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives on April 22."


They shared videos of the attack and details of what happened on the ground.

Col. Sofiya Qureshi, while addressing the media, presented videos showing destroyed terror camps, including Mehmoona Joya camp, Sialkot, which lies about 12-18 km inside Pakistan.

"It's one of the biggest camps of Hizbul Mujahideen. It is one of the control centres for spreading terrorism in the Kathua, Jammu region. The camp planned and directed the attack on the Pathankot air force base camp," she said.


She also said evidence of India destroying the Sarjal camp in Sialkot, which lies 6 km inside Pakistan. "It's the camp from where those terrorists involved in the killing of 4 Jammu & Kashmir police personnel received their training."

"No military installations were targeted and there are no reports of any civilian casualties in Pakistan so far," Colonel Sofiya Qureshi said.

Wing Commander Singh said that Operation Sindoor was launched by the armed forces to deliver justice to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack and their families.

"Nine terrorist camps were targeted and successfully destroyed... The locations were so selected to avoid damage to civilian infrastructures and loss of any civilian lives," she said.

According to the forces, as many as 9camps belonging to terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Muhammed were targeted by India.
