The Centre on Saturday announced the names of 51 political leaders, including current parliamentarians and former ministers from across party lines who will lead all-party delegations in different countries as part of Operation Sindoor.
The outreach will include both opposition and ruling alliance leaders. They will brief partner nations on the Pahalgam attack and India’s firm response under Operation Sindoor. Together, they will visit 32 countries and the European Union headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.

Congress MP Baijayant Panda will lead Group 1 visiting Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria. The members who will accompany him are Nishikant Dubey (BJP), Phangnon Konyak (BJP), Rekha Sharma (BJP), Asaduddin Owaisi (AIMIM) Satnam Singh Sandhu, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Amb. Harsh Shringla.
Ravi Shankar Prasad will oversee the Group 2 to the UK, France, Germany, the EU, Italy, and Denmark. It includes Dr. Daggubati Purandeswari (TDP), Priyanka Chaturvedi ( Shiv Sena (UBT), Ghulam Ali Khatana, Dr. Amar Singh (INC), Samik Bhattacharya (BJP), MJ Akbar and Amb. Pankaj Saran.
Group 3 will be led by JDU’s Sanjay Kumar Jha to Indonesia, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Japan, and Singapore. The members are Aparajita Sarangi (BJP), Yusuf Pathan (AITC), Brij Lal (BJP), Dr. John Brittas (CPI M) Pradan Baruah (BJP), Dr Hemang Joshi (BJP), Salman Khurshid and Amb. Mohan Kumar.
Shrikant Shinde will lead Group 4 to UAE, Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Sierra Leone. The members are Bansuri Swaraj (BJP), ET Mohammed Basheer (IUML), Atul Garg (BJP) Dr. Sasmit Patra (BJD) Manan Kumar Mishra (BJP), SS Ahluwalia and Amb. Sujan Chinoy.
Shashi Tharoor will lead Group 5 to the United States, Panama, Guyana, Colombia and Brazil. The members are Shambhavi (LJP Ram Vilas), Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmad (JMM) GM Harish Balayogi (TDP), Shashank Mani Tripathi (BJP), Bhubaneswar Kalita (BJP), Milind Murli Deora (Shiv Sena) Amb. Taranjit Singh Sandhu and Tejasvi Surya (BJP).
DMK’s Kanimozhi will lead Group 6 to Spain, Greece, Russia, Slovenia and Latvia. The members are Rajeev Rai (SP), Mian Altaf Ahmad (NC) Capt. Brijesh Chowta (BJP), Prem Chand Gupta (RJD), Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal (AAP) Amb. Manjeev S. Puri and Amb. Jawed Ashraf.
NCP MP Supriya Sule will head Group 7 visiting Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia, and South Africa. The members are Rajiv Pratap Rudy (BJP), Vikramjeet Singh Sahney (AAP), Manish Tewari (INC), Anurag Singh Thakur (BJP), Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu (TDP), Anand Sharma, V. Muraleedharan and Amb. Syed Akbaruddin.
Each delegation comprises seven to eight leaders and is supported by former diplomats. Of the 51 participants, 31 belong to the ruling NDA, while 20 represent non-NDA parties.
