Amid escalating tensions, India has suspended visa services for Canada and demanded a reduction in the number of Canadian diplomats within its borders. This move marks a new nadir in the relationship between the two nations.

Simultaneously, reports of gang warfare and anti-India Khalistani activities are intensifying, leading to Canada being labeled a sanctuary for Punjab's gangsters. The situation is placing increasing pressure on the Justin Trudeau government, not only on the international front but also domestically.

Home battle

Over the past two days, thousands of Canadian parents have rallied in cities across the country, protesting the way schools address gender identity and the treatment of transgender youth by teachers.

Videos circulating on social media capture protesters chanting "No more silence" as they voice concerns over the Canadian government's handling of these educational topics.

Protesters claim that schools are introducing what they term "gender ideology" to young students and demand that parents be informed if their children are exploring their gender identity.

CBC.ca reports that some parents and socially conservative groups are opposing LGBTQ-inclusive education policies in classrooms and extracurricular activities, citing parental rights. Critics argue that this term fails to address the concerns of LGBTQ parents or parents with LGBTQ children.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has unequivocally condemned transphobia, homophobia, and biphobia, expressing solidarity with 2SLGBTQI+ Canadians, asserting the validity and value of their identities.

The Canadian Press reports that Conservative MPs have been directed not to discuss the ongoing Ottawa protests with the media or on social media platforms.

In related news, the Ottawa police have arrested two individuals for inciting hatred by displaying offensive materials during the protest, while another person was apprehended for causing a disturbance (Firstpost).

Sukhdool killing

Canadian intelligence reports on September 21 have revealed that Sukhdool Singh, also known as Sukha Duneke, a member of the Davinder Bambiha gang hailing from Moga district, met his demise in a deadly clash within rival gangs. This incident mirrors the killing of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who fell victim to inter-gang warfare in Surrey on June 19.
