Shares of United Breweries traded higher early on March 11 on the back of the launch of a beer brand in Karnataka.
At 9:28am, United Breweries was quoting Rs 1,703.55, up Rs 6.20, or 0.37 percent, on the BSE.
The company has launched Kingfisher Ultra Max draught beer in its premium strong beer category in Karnataka after success in Punjab and Chandigarh, said the company.
"The launch of Kingfisher Ultra Max Draught Beer in Karnataka marks a significant milestone in our journey," said Vikram Bahl, Chief Marketing Officer at United Breweries Limited.

On February 29, the company launched London Pilsner, a new standard for Pilsner beer in Karnataka.
The company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 85.34 crore for the December quarter of FY24 against a loss of Rs 1.97 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
Total revenue of the company rose 12.28 percent at Rs 4,154.98 crore.
