 
            
                           Shares of PVR Inox traded in the green early on March 5 after the company opened a six-screen cinema at the Mall of Faridabad, Haryana.
At 9:23am, PVR INOX was quoting Rs 1,391.05, up Rs 9.05, or 0.65 percent, on the BSE.
The cinema is equipped with 4K laser projection and Real D 3D along with five premiere auditoriums with celebrity recliners equipped with 2K laser projection, Dolby Atmos sound and Next-Gen 3D technology.
With this opening, the company unveiled its sixth cinema in Faridabad and plans to firm up its foothold in Haryana with 94 screens in 23 properties, keeping up its expansion in the northern part of India with 469 screens in 104 properties.
Also, with this launch, the company now operates the largest multiplex network with 1,732 screens across 363 properties in 113 cities (India and Sri Lanka).
"We are pleased to announce the opening of our sixth multiplex in the thriving Faridabad market. The latest cinema marks the debut of the first P[XL] with laser projection in Faridabad offering an immersive cinematic experience for the city's movie enthusiasts," said Ajay Bijli, managing director of PVR INOX.

On March 1, the company unveiled 18 screens in two multiplexes - 14 in Pune and four in Patna.
The company also re-opened the iconic Sangam cinema at Andheri East, which is equipped with the best-in-class theatrical solutions including 2K projection, advanced Dolby 7.1 audio and Next-Gen 3D technology for an immersive experience.
