Protean eGov Technologies share price rose 10 percent in the opening trade on August 26 following the company received a work order from UIDAI to establish district level Aadhar Kendra.
At 09:20am, Protean eGov Technologies was quoting at Rs 905.75, up Rs 87.55, or 10.70 percent, on the BSE.
".... has received a work order from Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), New Delhi, Government of India for providing services as service provider for establishing and running district level Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) of approximately Rs 1160 crores (exclusive of taxes)," company said in its press release.
The company is going to establish ASK in 188 districts across India and provide appointment/ walk-in based Aadhaar Enrolment, Update and other miscellaneous Aadhaar Services at ASK in next six years.

The company had posted consolidated net profit of Rs 23.85 crore in the quarter ended June 2025, against Rs 21.09 crore in year ago period.
The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 2,225.00 and a 52-week low of Rs 716.50 on 30 August, 2024 and 12 August, 2025, respectively.
Currently, the stock is trading 59.29 percent below its 52-week high and 26.41 percent above its 52-week low.
The market capitalisation of the company stands at Rs 3,672.53 crore.
