Indoco Remedies up 12% after Goa unit gets six 483s from USFDA

    Indoco Remedies shares surged 12 percent intraday Wednesday after the company said observations received for Goa plant were not related to date integrity issue.

    US Food and Drug Administration inspected the company's Goa Plant II from August 31, 2016 to September 04, 2016. The injectable abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) filings triggered this inspection, the Mumbai-based pharma company said in its filing.

    At the end of the inspection, six 483s were issued.

    All the observations (483s) are correctable and the company expects to complete the corrective and preventive actions within a period of 30 days, it said, adding none of the 483s were related to data integrity issue.

    At 15:09 hours IST, the scrip of Indoco Remedies was quoting at Rs 335.40, up Rs 14.10, or 4.39 percent amid high volumes on the BSE.Posted by Sunil Shankar Matkar
