    Shares of Fortis Healthcare rallied 4 percent intraday Tuesday on completion of sale of Singapore Hospital to Concord Medical Services.

    "Fortis Healthcare International Pte Ltd, a step down subsidiary of Fortis Healthcare said today it has received the sum of Singapore Dollar 55 million from the sale of its Singapore Hospital to Concord Medical Services (International) Pte. With this, the deal announced on March 27 is completed," said the company in its filing to the exchange.

    JP Morgan and Religare Capital Markets acted as financial advisors to Fortis for this transaction.

    At 14:35 hours IST, the scrip of Fortis Healthcare was quoting at Rs 179.90, up Rs 3.55, or 2.01 percent on the BSE.
