Carlyle Group sells stake in Yes Bank, Goldman Sachs buys stake

Goldman Sachs (Singapore) PTE- ODI bought 36.92 crore shares, a 1.23 percent stake in Yes Bank at Rs 24.26.

Carlyle Group’s CA Basque Investments sold 59.4 crore shares which makes up 1.98 percent stake at Rs 24.27 per share

United States-based investment firm Carlyle Group has sold 59.4 crore shares, which makes up 1.98 percent stake in Yes Bank, via CA Basque Investments at Rs 24.27 per share, according to bulk deal data available on the National Stock Exchange.

The Carlyle Group entity sold shares worth Rs 1441.63 crore.

Notably, CA Basque Investments held 9.11 percent stake in the company till April 2024.

Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs (Singapore) PTE-ODI bought 36.92 crore shares, which is a 1.23 percent stake in the company at an average price of Rs 24.26. Goldman Sachs bought shares worth Rs 895.78.

On May 3, shares of Yes Bank fell 1.96 percent since the May 2 closing price to Rs 24.95 on the NSE.

In Cigniti Technologies, Rajasthan Global Securities bought 2.77 lakh shares, a 1.02 percent stake, at an average price of Rs 1348.76. Cigniti Technologies stock plunged 3.72 percent to Rs 1,322 on NSE.
