Bharat Electronics share price gained marginally in the early trade on April 3 following the company signed a contract worth RS 593.22 crore with Indian Air Force.
At 09:55am, Bharat Electronics was quoting at Rs 283.10, up Rs 0.70, or 0.25 percent, on the BSE.
".... has signed a contract with Indian Air Force valued at Rs 593.22 crores (excluding taxes) for providing maintenance services for the Akash Missile System, which was supplied by the company," Bharat Electronics said its release.
The company also concluded negotiations with customers for acquisition of orders worth Rs 5,000 crore.

The company has achieved 16 percent growth in its turnover at around Rs 23000 crore during the Financial Year 2024-25, which included export sales of around USD 106 million.
In the month of March, the company secured order worth Rs 2,463 crore for Ashwini Radars from Indian Air Force and bagged additional orders worth Rs 2,805 crore.
The share price gained 28 percent in the last one-year.
The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 340.35 and a 52-week low of Rs 218.30 on 10 July, 2024 and 04 April, 2024, respectively.
Currently, the stock is trading 16.82 percent below its 52-week high and 29.68 percent above its 52-week low.
Market capitalisation stands at Rs 206,939.84 crore.
