Tech Mahindra up 2% on probable buyout of Hutch's BPO arm

Software services provider Tech Mahindra, a subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra Group, rose as much as 2.3% intraday on Tuesday after reports that the company is set to buyout Hutchison Whampoa's call centre business in the country.

    Software services provider Tech Mahindra, a subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra Group, rose as much as 2.3% intraday on Tuesday after reports that the company is set to buyout Hutchison Whampoa's call centre business in the country. Sources said the deal was worth between USD 100 million and USD 120 million.

    At 12:47 hours IST, the share was trading at Rs 825, up 1.79% with volumes of 1,14,842 equity shares.
     
    Yesterday, the share gained 1.57% to close at Rs 810.50. Market capitalisation of the company currently stands at Rs 10,530.23 crore.
