Nifty 5200 Put adds 9.8 lakh shares in open interest

Nifty PCR fell to 1.30 at 1.31 yesterday. Total Put added 16 lakh shares and Call added 15 lakh shares in open interest.

Option cues


- Nifty PCR fell to 1.30 at 1.31
- Total Put adds 16 lakh shares, Call adds 15 lakh shares in open interest
- Nifty 5300 Put, 5200 Put & 5000 put has the highest open interest (OI)
- 5200 put saw selling; adds 9.8 lakh shares in OI; its premium down 35%
- 5400 put saw selling; adds 4.5 lakh shares in OI; its premium down 30% - 4800 put saw selling; adds 3.4 lakh shares in OI; its premium down 43.7%
- 5900 call saw buying; adds 3.6 lakh shares in OI; its premium up 44.6%
- 6000 call saw buying; adds 3.3 lakh shares in OI; its premium up 44%
- 5700 call saw buying; adds 1.7 lakh shares in OI; its premium up 47.3%
- 5900 and 6000 call continues to witness selling

F&O cues


- Nifty futures added 7.7 lakh shares in OI
- Total Stock Futures added 2.45 crore shares in OI
- Nifty March Futures are trading at 66 points premium versus 57.4 points premium to spot
- India VIX closed at 27.38, up by 10.31%


FIIs have bought Rs 1500 crore in F&O segment on February 28, as per provisional data available on NSE. They have bought Rs 940 crore worth of Index Futures and Rs 1048 crore of Index Options while FIIs sold Rs 492 crore worth of Stock Futures yesterday.
