F&O cues: Nifty 6100 Call adds 6 lakh shares in Open Int

F&O cues: Nifty options suggest market range of 5800-6000. Total Puts added 10 lakh shares in Open Interest while total Calls shed 20,000 shares in Open Interest.

F&O cues:


- Nifty options suggest market range of 5800-6000


- Total Puts added 10 lakh shares in Open Interest (OI) yesterday


- Total Calls shed 20,000 shares in Open Interest


- Nifty 6000 Call shed 3.5 lakh shares in Open Interest


- Nifty 5800 Put shed 3.8 lakh shares in Open Interest


- Nifty 6100 Call added 6 lakh shares in Open Interest


- Nifty 5700 Put added 4.7 lakh shares in Open Interest


- Nifty 5900 Call shed 2.6 lakh shares in Open Interest


- Total Nifty futures added 80,000 shares in OI while stock futures added 3 crore shares in OI


- Nifty put-call ratio (PCR) increased to 1.08 yesterday from 1.07 on Tuesday


- India VIX rose 0.21 percent to close at 14.47


Institutional action


Foreign institutional investors have sold Rs 287 crore worth of contracts in F&O segment on December 19, as per provisional data available on National Stock Exchange.

They have sold Rs 166 crore worth of Index Futures whereas bought Rs 445 crore worth of Index Options and Rs 48 crore worth of Stock Futures yesterday.
